Manufactured in the USA, the Bus - Cam Digital 5000 is a true mobile digital
video recording system which can be used in any vehicle. It operates on an
extremely low power of less than 9 watts and the industry-leading design
provides full protection against voltage transients, power disturbances
vibration, shock dust and moisture. Extremely compact weighing around 3.5
lbs, the Digital 5000 can be installed virtually anywhere in a vehicle
without the use of an enclosure.
GPS,
Speed, Signal Indicators, Date, Time, Route Identification and Incident
Button are just a few of the features available in this compact system. The
Digital 5000 records video and audio on a 2.5 inch removable hard drive
using MPEG4 compression producing DVD quality on playback. It begins
recording automatically when the ignition is switched on or within a
schedule. Once the ignition is off, in all cases the Digital 5000 turns
itself off after the user-programmed delay.
Reviewing and archiving video recorded on the Bus - Cam Digital 5000 is very
easy. Simply connect a monitor to the Digital 5000 and playback or search
video using a wireless remote controller. You can remove the hard disk
cartridge to playback or archive the video and audio on a PC using the disk
viewer software. The Digital 5000 is network enabled and can easily connect
to your local area network for accessing the live and recorded video.
