Nothing can be more terrifying for a small child...

Today, the ride is strangely different. "Where are my friends? The driver looks like a stranger. Something's very wrong." Then, at the end of the run, he's left standing in a strange neighborhood. And it's dark. "Where's mom? Where am I?"

It happens all too often. A preoccupied adult, a childish distraction, and a kid finds himself on the wrong bus. In the best case, the driver has to sort it all out at the end of the route, if and when he discovers the mistake. Meanwhile, there are frantic and angry parents, demanding to know what happened. In the worst case...well, you know the worst case.

There is a simple and inexpensive solution: RouteCheck.

RouteCheck ensures that every child is on the proper bus--immediately upon boarding. The patented system* performs a check of a simple ID badge (or clothing snap-on) and validates that he is where he is supposed to be. If not, the driver is immediately notified with an audible alert, to head off the problem--instantly!

RouteCheck uses either magnetic-stripe or RFID cards for a simple and quick validation. Systems can be a simple 'GO/NO-GO' type, to a very sophisticated auditing system for those districts that have fare structures. The versatile system can be used stand-alone, or easily integrated into existing student ID programs.

Available Summer 2011. Please contact us for additional details.
